Return/Refund Policy for Rental Items
At DecoByka, we take pride in offering high-quality decor rentals for your special events. To ensure the best experience for our clients, we have established the following Return and Refund Policy for all rental items. By placing a rental order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required to secure your reservation and hold the rental items for your event date.
- The deposit will be applied toward your total rental fee, and the remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
- Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, changes in event plans, or venue issues. The deposit guarantees the availability of rental items for your event.
2. Cancellations
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date: You will receive a refund of any payments made, excluding the deposit.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date: Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided, and the full rental fee will be charged.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email at info@decobyka.com and are effective once acknowledged by our team.
3. Damaged or Missing Items
- All rental items must be returned in the same condition they were delivered. A damage fee will be assessed if any items are returned damaged, soiled, or missing.
- If rental items are lost or severely damaged (beyond reasonable wear and tear), the full replacement cost of the item(s) will be charged to the client.
- Damages must be reported immediately upon return of the items. If damage is found after the event, DecoByka reserves the right to charge the client accordingly.
4. Returns
- All rental items must be returned on the agreed-upon return date and time. Late returns will incur a late fee of $50 per day, or a percentage of the total rental fee depending on the nature of the rental.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring that items are packed securely for return as directed by DecoByka. If our team is required to handle the packing of returned items, additional charges may apply.
5. Refund Process
- Any refunds (excluding deposits) will be processed within 7-10 business days from the cancellation or return date.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
- Clients will be notified by email once their refund has been processed.
6. Changes to Order
- Changes to your rental order (such as additional items or adjustments) must be requested at least 14 days before the event date. Changes made after this time may not be accommodated.
- Additional charges may apply for any changes or additions to the rental order.
7. Force Majeure (Unexpected Events)
In the event that DecoByka is unable to fulfill an order due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to either reschedule your event or provide a full refund of the rental fee (excluding the deposit).
8. Terms of Agreement
